The two core design disciplines that shape my work. With great UI design you’ll get a pleasurable viewing experience. However without great UX the most beautiful UI can lead to a bad user experience.
Designing fit for purpose software solutions. Identifying any current challenges, understanding the desired outcome and delivering a well-thought-out design to suit.
Utilizing experience working with the complexity of e-commerce in comparison to small, one-page sites. Following best practises for SEO whilst keeping in mind how a site will respond on the latest devices.
Visualise and develop your concepts. Introducing industry standard practices to ensure the app is clean, easy to use and attractive to your target market.
Collective CGI challenged me to plan and design a piece of software that would enable them to communicate better with their clients. Whilst also integrating some project management tools to better plan their workflow.
Working closely with their team I designed a portal that has a clean UI and easy to use UX.

As Central American travel experts, Inspirit required an updated travel-booking system that needed to be automated online. I was tasked with planning and designing an e-commerce platform to advertise and sell their trips.
The main goal with this project was to present a vast amount of information, while making the booking process easy and accessible to the target market. I did this by separating the information into more manageable sections whilst highlighting eye-catching imagery and videos. This gave users an all-round perception of their future adventure with Inspirit.

My work for Philips primarily focused on creating multiple tablet designs that could be integrated into in-store POS displays. The overall aim was to offer shoppers the ability to browse the latest goods and see product features. Further providing them with a comparison table which allowed them the flexibility to choose the product that was most suited to their needs. By clearly displaying the information and using noticeable navigation elements, a successful and commended design was implemented.

As travel wizards, anything in the industry they don’t know about isn’t worth knowing. Whilst necessitating web software that would be able to display their travel information successfully, Veeops required a multi-user access which allowed for editing specific sections paramount to their part in the travel world. Hotel owners and Tour Operators needed the ability to update their prices so that a travel agent could then put together the perfect trip. To achieve this we needed multiple user roles so that each person in the chain could login and play their part.
The system also needed to allow the tour operators and guides the ability to view booking times and details for both the trip and the client. This ultimately would become an app that could be downloaded and used to streamline their workflow.

ICS are an independent clinical services provider, who required an updated E-Commerce platform that they would advertise and sell their services on. Splitting all of their services into 4 main areas and using several levels of navigation i was able to let users find the service they needed easily. Then by using one main CTA to show the primary action and several secondary CTAs to show other actions users can find the site more accessible and clear to navigate.
Using WooCommerce allowed for a larger transformation with a rapid turnaround time. This meant that ICS was able to get online ASAP. A custom ordering system was further implemented to enhance and streamline the process.

As a leading global consumer products company, it was a pleasure to be tasked with designing an E-commerce portal for Helen of Troy. Tracking budgets, ordering and forecasting products whilst reporting/estimating figures were all at the forefront for this project outcome. Communicating with each cog in the Helen of Troy wheel was vital to designing a portal that would work for everyone involved.

Whilst working at Round Creative, I designed a custom CMS for their new website. This also included custom project management software called ‘JobOrg’. The CMS features areas to manage the site content with data obtained from Google Analytics to allow the website to be developed in one place. JobOrg is a valuable tool designed to track and assign staff tasks.
